New Year Resolutions - Diets and What Goes Wrong

By Mary Leahy Three, two onecorks popping, fireworks going off, people singing Auld Lang Syne, while others are making vows to stop eating chocolate, drinking and so on. Every year people make their New Years resolutions and a lot consists of wanting to lose those extra pounds. Especially, now the Christmas season has passed and you have accumulated even extra pounds to shed, by starting that healthy lifestyle or joining a gym. But after a short while all these good intentions go out the window. Why does this happen? Most times these resolutions just have not been thought through properly. These are spur of the moment or even desperate measures, that you think are going to get the extra weight off and you back into a healthy lifestyle. You may decide for the month of January, you will avoid alcohol, chocolates and start back at the gym, running again or adding some kind of exercise back to your daily routine. And yes, you may stick with this for the month, however, there are eleven more months in the year. What happens with these? Slowly you start going back to your old habits, going out with friends as you can go to the gym tomorrow, but tomorrow brings something else and so the old routine starts again. I am not saying that you have to give up going out with friends or never having chocolate again, but to lose those extra pounds you need to take a look at your established eating habits and lifestyle, then make the necessary changes to get the desired results. You may want to think about what you want to change and how much weight you want to lose and set reasonable goals. You can not expect to lose weight quickly and keep it off. It has to be gradual for it to work effectively. Fad diets or extreme measures such as, avoiding temptation by avoiding going out, will only lead to you craving these items more and being unhappy with yourself when you do not achieve your wish. What is the most effective way to control your weight but not have to starve yourself or avoid the foods you love? Being healthy should not interfere with your social life to the point that you stay home being miserable rather than going out with friends. I dont know about you but I am tired of turning on the television and all the commercials going on about what we should eat, or about how to control our weight by joining this program or that. Or seeing the headlines about this star or that who claims they have the secret to keeping thin by…What do we follow? Which program do we buy into? Whos detox or diet book should we follow? The one who has the higher advertising budget, so we see it more often? Where do we turn for help? One of the best programs I have found is the one that explains how the body functions and what to do to keep it healthy. Understanding how our body works and how it uses food and in what combinations will help you understand and control your weight. Learning which foods to eat that will help you lose weight and which ones that cause weight gain will help you achieve your goal of losing weight and having a healthier lifestyle. A good program which explains not only the different food groups and the correct combination to eat them in, it also explains the importance of portion size and this can be found at http://www.mnb-weightlossprogram.com. Leahy is a registered nurse with many years experience in nutrition and assisting patient and their families on the benefits of a healthier lifestyle. She also lived overseas working in a multi-national hospital along side a variety of multi-national staff members. She had the opportunity to observe and study a variety of cultures and their eating habits. With the help of her husband they came up with this healthy eating program designed to help you understand food, lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. http://www.mnb-weightlossprogram.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Mary_Leahy http://EzineArticles.com/?New-Year-Resolutions—Diets-and-What-Goes-Wrong&id=420746 personal loans online links to payday lenders [payday loan instant payday loan

Drug Companies Profits: Lies, Bribes, and Deceit

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Edwards] Tim Edwards Drug companies claim that to spend about 35% of their total revenue on marketing. That might not seem too astronomical, but when youre talking about an industry that does its business in the billions, it adds up quickly. The drug companies claim that in 2001 it spent far less money on advertisement than it did on research and development (30.3 billion). In this article we will look at how much the drug companies are actually spending on advertisement and how they are manipulating the facts in order sell more prescription medication. Drug companies split advertisement or marketing and administration as they like to call it, (this helps give them another place to say money is being spent other than advertising) into for basic categories: direct to consumer advertising (TV commercials), doctors office solicitation, medical journal advertisement, and free samples for doctors. PhRMA reported in 2001 that the total spending for all the drug companies was $19.1 billion, far less than the $30.3 billion spent on research and development. The fact is the $19.1 was just a portion of it. The reported $19.1 billion should have been a little bit closer to $54 billion, which is 30% of the recorded $179 billion of recorded revenue. So where is the missing $35 billion? In the disclaimer: these figures do not include educational meetings arranged by pharmaceutical companies for physicians, which are not generally considered to be promotional activities. Pretty convenient to have a category to throw any of the expenses you dont want to record into. One of the more prevalent ways drug companies are using their advertising money is through doctors office salesmen. In 2001 drug companies gave 11 billion dollars worth of free samples away and sent 88,000 salesmen to doctors offices to promote their drugs. This is the drug companies way of offering doctors bribes. Aside from the usual rounds of golf, free meals, medical conferences, and free samples, a good example of a drug company bribing doctors to use their products is the Lupron case. When Lupron, a hormone treatment for prostate cancer, began to face competition from Zoladex, a new drug in the same market, the makers of Lupron found a way to keep doctors prescribing their medication over the new alternative. Lupron inflated their price of a dose of their medication to $500 and then sold it to doctors for $350. Medicare would then pay $500 for the medication and the doctors would get to keep the left over, using taxpayer money to provide monetary incentive for doctors to prescribe their drug. Where do you think the drug companies get these billions of dollars to throw around on advertising and bribes? They get it from inflating there drug prices. Are government says that we dont have price controls to promote a truly creative market that produces new innovative drugs. But not having price controls ends up just creating a way for the drug companies to raise there prices. So where should you by your prescription medication? From a market other than the United States. A great resource for finding the cheapest and safest pharmacy is NoPrescriptionNeeded.com. NPN allows you to search all the pharmacies for the drug you are looking for, and shows you which pharmacies offer your drug the cheapest. Why Women are Often Attracted to Older Men (The Sugar Daddy Phenomenon)

By Trevor Taylor It’s true to say that many young men, on reaching the age in their lives when pubescence takes control of their lateral thinking, find themselves fantasizing about older females, often twice their own age and upwards. For instance it’s quite common for young men still at school age, testosterone flying everywhere, to have the ‘hots’ for one or more of their female teachers, neighbor’s wife or even a pal’s mother. The consensus of opinion reached by many is that the attraction by a young male to a more mature woman is based around the fact that she has experience… a working knowledge of the male anatomy, and a sexual prowess not to be discovered so easily in a younger woman his own age. Although there are exceptions, in the majority of cases, his secret lusting remains just that, and goes unnoticed by the older female who still regards him as a young student or friend of her son. However, as the young male grows older, and gains his own level of experience, so his desire for the mature female wanes, and on reaching middle age, will frequently have his head ‘turned’ by a much younger woman. All this is in stark contrast to the attraction patterns noted in the life of the female of the species. Whereas the young girl, on first becoming sexually aware, will hone her intimacy skill on the younger male, she will often be less interested in him as she gets older, turning her attention to the more mature men that cross her path. But why is this the case? The Sugar Daddy Phenomenon, whilst oftentimes the source of amusement for some, can in fact develop into quite a powerful relationship, with loyalty, romance and chivalry being key factors in the union. Many women note that a guy around her own age or younger, will not show her the same level of respect, or pay as much attention to detail that his older counterpart will be inclined to show her. It’s a valid point that women are more mature than men at any given age, and its not surprising that by the time she reaches her mid-thirties, she already feels more compatible with a male ten or twenty years her senior, and left guys her own age, far behind both in mentality and emotionally. Her more mature partner is more equipped to seduce her mind as well as her body. He will be less afraid of displaying public affection, holding her hand or opening doors for her. Happy to allow the whole world see how proud he is to be by her side. Sexually too, he may not be an athlete between the sheets, yet he will feel the need to ensure his girl is pleasured well as a priority over seeking to satisfy his own desires. Her younger lover will no doubt give her “the best seventeen seconds she’s ever had”, before raiding her fridge in search of a beer. Whereas in the case of her older guy, the foreplay will begin in the restaurant with witty flirting, eye contact and laughter. Later they will enjoy the afterglow together, the passion may have subsided but the emotion still very much alive. The term ‘Sugar Daddy’ was first used in the early 1920’s and is described in the WordWeb Dictionary as “A wealthy older man who gives a young person expensive gifts in return for friendship or intimacy”. The sugar in this term alluded to the sweetening role of the gifts, and daddy to the age difference between the pair. There is no mention of love, romance or indeed a relationship in the dictionary description of the term, Yet it is a fact that women are often attracted, even turned on by men of substance or power. Is it so inconceivable then, that a younger woman could find happiness in a relationship with a guy old enough to be her father, who has so much more to offer her than money and gifts? EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques - What is It?

By Steven Harold EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques was developed by Gary Craig. He, attended a course on TFT - Thought Field Therapy (Dr. Roger Callaghan) and wanted to simply what he discovered to make the process as easy as possible to use but without detracting from its effectiveness. What is EFT? EFT is a technique which involves the stimulation of various acupuncture points whilst connecting to (thinking or talking about) the issue that the person wants to resolve. In order to understand the principals beyond EFT it is useful to start off with an understanding of acupuncture. Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years in China as a method of helping people overcome physical, psychological and emotional problems and issues. The underlying idea of acupuncture is this: - 1) The body has a number meridian lines contained within the body. 2) Along the meridian lines flows energy which is called ‘Chi’ (pronounced chee) 3) The ends and beginnings and parts in between of each of the meridian lines (acupuncture points) are close enough to the surface of the body for them to be affected by physical manipulation. 4) If a person has an particular issue, an experienced acupuncturist will know which meridian lines will have a blockage in them relevant to the issue, will know the acupuncture points appropriate to use for the resolution of that issue. 5) Acupuncture needles, which are very thin and hollow, can be inserted in appropriate acupuncture points to deliberately help the flow of energy through a particular meridian line. 6) With the blockage in the flow of Chi gone the issue goes or improves as well. Now acupressure is the manipulation of those same acupuncture points on the body but instead of using acupuncture needles, the fingers and thumbs are used instead. Forms of acupressure that you might have experienced before are reflexology or shiatsu. With EFT, instead of using needles or pressure on the acupuncture points, a series of light tapping with the fingers is used. The tapping can be done by the person with the issue for themselves or a practitioner can do the tapping for them. Now at the same time the person is asked to repeat a sentence which describes the issue. The idea behind this is that the person stays connected to the issue (by repeating the description of the problem). At the end of one round of tapping on various acupuncture points, the strength of the issue is checked with the person. Of the issue is still present more rounds of EFT (tapping) will be used. One round of EFT takes only around 60-90 seconds and the majority of people who have experienced EFT report a decrease in the strength of the issue. With EFT being a process that anyone can use on themselves, it can be a very useful tool to help anyone deal with any issue whether physical, psychological or emotional. The great news about EFT is that you do not have to have your belief system involved. You do not have to believe in EFT for it to be effective. All you do need is maybe a sense of curiosity and willingness to do it. As the rewards are high, the loss of that old issue, thousands of people have become regular EFT users and there are many EFT practitioners in the UK and worldwide now available to help people quickly. Why You Should Consolidate Your College Loans While In School

By Charles Neshah Before I tell you the four most important aspects of College Loan Consolidation you must know, understand that the well-known type of college loan repayment option is the loan consolidation. Loan consolidation is favorable to college loan debtors because they offer them good benefits in both short and long term by enabling the lumping of ones college loans into one account and one repayment plan. Should you consolidate your college loans or not, yes you should now and take advantage as follows: 1. Loan consolidation makes your college loan payments manageable when you leave school. The rates are very low and repayment period is extend to give you a breathing space, and monthly payments can go down to more than half. 2. The latest in college loan consolidation plan is “in school consolidation. You can consolidate your existing college loans while in school to secure low rates for at least part of your student loan portfolio. 3. College loan Consolidation saves thousands of dollars in interest payments on college loans. You will be better off to consolidate now so as to forestall a higher debt load. In order to successfully apply for college loan consolidation you must put pencil on paper and work out your income and expenses in relation to the amount you intend to borrow. 4. Do not think about whether to consolidate your college loans or not, just do it. A little sacrifice will not kill you, the earlier you consolidate your college loans the better. Most students do not favor consolidating their college loans whilst still in school, because it will lower their living standard. However, to consolidate a college loan while in school does not mean that you must begin repayment immediately. There is a deferment clause you can bring into play and thus start your repayment after you graduate. Put all your eggs in one good basket for lower rates and lower monthly repayments. Shrubs - the Way I Like It!

By Khieng Chho Of recent times, the popularity of this pint-sized horticultural woody plant has been growing in leaps and bounds. People who wish to be in touch with their inner side and Mother Nature prefer taking care of shrubs rather than other types of plants because generally cuter and easier to transfer to different locations. There are a huge variety of plants that can be classified as shrubs or trees, depending on their growing conditions. So dont be confused when a plant shop owner offers you something that you initially thought was a tree. On the other hand, minute-sized plants like lavender and periwinkle are frequently referred to as subshrubs. Shrubs can also be deciduous or evergreen. Glossary for Shrub Clubs Bush a plant that is also referred to as shrub in some cases Shrubbery A part of a garden or park where shrubs are cultivated; if the shrubs are clipped as topiary, these plants would tend to grow dense foliage and small leafy branches that are bunched together Shrubland used to describe any natural plant community where shubs reign in abundance Shrub Pruning Pruning is required when taking care of shrubs or plants whenever you plan to transfer them to another area. If you dont prune your shrubs before digging them out, theyll lose their roots and die. When you subject shrubs to renewal pruning, results are more often than not favorable and hard cutting them back to their stool-like origins may even lead to longer new stems known as canes. Selective pruning however is best for other shrubs if you wish to reveal more of the plants structure and character. Always consult an expert to know the best way to prune your shrubs. Shrub Buying Tips There are many places that you can buy shrubs nurseries, malls and even grocery shops. But the truly best place to purchase shrubs are from your local nurseries as theyre often the ones with the best stock of shrubs in the best of conditions. Nurseries are also often the ones wholl be able to better assist you if its your first time to take care of shrubs. Ball and Burlap Plants Evergreen shrubs are often sold wrapped in burlap and their roots contained in a ball of soil; the way theyre packaged keeps the plant from drying out. Dont life a ball and burlap plant by its trunk or main stem because the weight of the soil ball could either cause some damage to the shrubs roots or worse, cause the two to break apart. Always lift it by its wrapped base when youll bring it to the cashier counter. The best choice of shrubs to buy are younger and well-rooted plants. Older ones tend to have spiral roots and will not grow as well as the younger plants when finally transferred to their permanent setting. For that matter, avoid purchasing any shrub that has spent too long cooped up in room temperature as these plants are already dessicated or damaged from lack of sunlight. Choose shrubs that are perfectly suited to your towns weather so that theyll last longer and be easier to take care of. If you plan to buy bare root shrubs, always select the completely dormant ones for easier transportation. Furthermore, smaller bare root shrubs are naturally easier to transplant than the larger ones and less expensive as well. Khieng ‘Ken’ Chho - Online Shrub Resources. Divorce Is An Excruciating Process

By Munish Dev Divorce is an excruciating process. It hurts the sentiment and morale of everyone involved. Our Law Firms strive to make this process smoother and quicker. The creative attorneys at Our Law Firms believe more in a separation through mutual understanding rather then the Hostile divorces. Mediation or collaborative divorces are a growing way of resolving split-up issues. Collaborative ways are less adversarial and allows greater control and privacy to both parties. It also saves money, saves mental stress, and in most cases achieves outcomes comparable with adversarial methods. The mediated settlements are also encouraged by courts and such divorces often got approved quickly. Collaborative law approves to the process where both sides are represented by lawyers but obligate to negotiating a resolution and refraining from litigation. Comparatively harmonious approach such as collaborative divorce usually reduces the pain of divorce for all parties. During the starting phase of this process both parties and their attorneys sign a partaking Agreement. This agreement requires: The exchange of complete financial information from both sides so that each party can compose right decisions To sustain total privacy during the settlement process, it helps both parties to feel free about expressing their requirements and worries, To attain written agreement on all disputes outside of the contested court proceedings, To authorize the attorneys the use of written agreement to obtain a final court order. Collaborative law helps both parties to shield the children from the harm legal action can inflict. It helps all parties to preserve a respectful relationship between them after the separation process is over. This type of process keeps the self-esteem of both parties and is a very positive solution for entire family. The process: First, both of the parties meet up with their collaborative attorneys to talk about individual requests and apprehensions. Then, the parties and their lawyers meet in round-table meetings to reach a resolution without involving the court. All the issues including property distribution, child custody, and support are discussed in these conferences. Both parties got benefited from the expertise, recommendation, and support of attorneys while striving to work things out in a positive, future-oriented way. When a resolution is achieved, attorneys file the suitable paperwork necessary for the court proceedings. No court appearances are required to get hold of a final divorce or separation announcement. The Grammar of Good Communication

By David Yarian No, this is not a rehash of primary-school grammar; nor is it a discourse on the finer points of rhetoric! There are some practical points which can make a powerful difference in the efficacy of your communication — whether on the job, with your spouse or when you are among friends. What is “good communication?” Much of what passes for conversation is a play with two performers, each impatiently waiting for the other to finish so they can declaim the lines they’ve been preparing as the other is talking. Good communication is using words to express meaning — clearly, efficiently and without ambiguity. This is most important in the communication which takes place between two people who want to make themselves understood in order to have a useful exchange of significant information about themselves or their relationship. This information is likely to have an emotional component, and may be a complex mixture of fact and feeling. This is typically the language of relationship, though in reality many relationships are rather devoid of this level of communication. I read a research study long ago which looked at the quantity and quality of communication between spouses with children. The overall amount of communication between spouses was surprisingly small (twenty minutes a day, or thereabouts); of that some eighty to ninety percent was spent talking about the children, the day’s schedule, plans to be made, or tasks to be done. Only some ten to twenty percent (of the twenty minutes!) was “relationship talk” between the spouses, where they shared feelings or meaningful dialogue about the nature of their relationship. The need for more quality communication within marriages is the subject of another piece. Here I wish to make some structural or grammatical suggestions which can greatly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of complex communication. It is important to make “I statements” — sentences which begin with the word “I”. “I feel tired today;” I am upset about X;” “I would like to go out to dinner tonight,”. A common colloquialism in America is to say something like “You feel mad when someone cuts you off in traffic,” when the meaning intended is “I feel mad when someone cuts me off…”. Attention to this simple structural detail of communication will greatly add to clarity and increased understanding. Too much important communication is muddied with vague or imprecise language. Of course, sometimes it feels safer to hide behind ambiguities or vagueness than to say what is really felt. The little word “but” is very important — it subtly but firmly negates all that has gone before. “You look nice in that dress, but…”. That word signals the listener to pay particular attention to what follows, because there is the real point of the message! “I like you a lot, but…” In emotional or relationship communication, “but” is a slippery character. It allows the speaker to say all the right things in the first part of the sentence, and then slip the verbal knife between the ribs with the “but.” “Never” and “always” are likewise tricky words — and rarely accurate. Communication which includes statements like “You always…” or “I never…” are likely to generate more heat than light. Life is rarely so simple that something is always or never the case. In everyday speech, we often confuse feeling and thought. “I feel that the world would be a better place if…” is not a statement of feeling (emotion), but a thought or cognition. Relationships between people are based upon emotion; we are constantly listening for the subtle cues in conversation to see where we stand, or how our friend/spouse/lover is feeling towards us at this moment. Clarity in labelling emotions and thoughts helps the listener know how to receive the message. Precise communication which captures the richness and nuance of emotion as well as thought is learned behavior. None of us is born knowing how to communicate clearly. It is possible to improve relationships by improving communication. Simple, direct, clear and unambiguous communication with those persons who are most significant is a skill well worth learning. ISLAM and CHRISTIANITY, A View Through Arguments

By Syed Waqar Ali Hi! (Salaam to You: Peace be Upon you) What a great greeting Muslims possess that whenever they meet one another, they greet peace and comfort to others. I am Syed Waqar from Pakistan. This is an article to open the eyes of unwise people (Christians, Jews or others) with the flashing and soothing light of Islam. You know, Christians are living with disillusions, and their faith is but wishful thinking. Judo-Christian claims are not supported by the reasonable arguments about their faiths. They talk like biased people who only know but to insist. Educated and broad-minded non-Muslims must go on thinking on the facts, which a practical life conveys. Just go through the facts what I am providing you with. First of all, I wish to draw your attention on the birth of Jesus Prophet (Which of course is a Prophet of Islam. (Read Jesus A Prophet of Islam), who was born without a father. You know very well (since you have at least a bit of common sense), what is called a son without father? I dont at all mean what is thought in this regard. We Muslims really love Jesus and respect him in a true manner what even Christians dont possess. But on the other hand, Muhammad Prophet came to the earth through the accurate natural order that no one can object His birth. So the atheists and seculars can object the birth of Jesus (PBUH) but they cant do it with Muhammad (PBUH) Secondly, would anyone tell me that did Jesus accomplish his goal of life (i. e. establishing the Kingdom of God)? No and not at all. He was crucified so cursedly according to Christian faith that He said to His Father Oh Father, why have You forsaken me? But our teachings tell us that a Prophet never complains since He is always a mercy for humanity. (Read Crucifixion or Crucifiction?) On the other hand, Muhammad (PBUH) completed the whole of His task within His life. It seems to be a pre-planned schedule of God Who took Him back after the last revelation i. e. Today, We have perfected Your religion and completed Our grace for You(in April 632 AD). Just three months later, Holy Prophet passed away to meet His Creator. In this regard, when we think, it seems quite clear that Christ (Yeshua or Massih) was in fact, Holy Prophet Muhammad. I dont claim it but Torah and Injeel claim this fact. So we can claim that our Holy Prophet set a Kingdom of God where no other than Allah was worshiped. But when Muslims left the teachings of Holy Prophet and followed the Western world, they met to their decline. Thirdly, Prophet of Christianity is not an historical personality, whereas Holy Prophet (Muhammad PBUH) has been approved as an historical personality even by Christian historians and authors. On the other hand, the Christians cant even prove it factually that there was a living Jesus in the world. I must add to make it clear that Im asking for historical presence and my readers very well know what does the word historical stand for? Christian apologists shouldnt try to prove Him a living Jesus who was crucified mythically. The charge of Jews also proves very sound-affecting when they say, if he were Christ, why had he been crucified in such a detestable manner? Lastly, we compare Bible and Quran (In the light of Science, Archaeology and Sociology). You know the language of Bible is Hebrew which is almost a dead language, whereas Qurans language is used by more than 1 billion people even today. The recitation of Quran is conducted daily by almost a billion people especially five times in a day while praying. What is Bible in contrast? Every Sunday, (which is a Pagan day Sun-Day, the birth day of Sun) Christians recite Bible. So, the bases of Christianity seem to be derived from Paganism. Historically, Bible is filled with blunders and archaeologically, it has been proved erred (Read Quran, Bible and Science by Morris Boscage) Further, I must approve my view from Torah: In Torah it is written about Amrafeel (A supposed king in the era of Ibrahim i. e. Prophet Abraham) that he fought a war with another contemporary king. But if we see archaeologically, we will find that Homoraby was the king ruling in the era of Abraham (21-20 century BC) and there is no such a person of the name of Amrafeel recorded throughout in the history. So the amendment of Torah has been proved (This is quoted from the Book of Genesis) . We Muslims dont ever say that Torah is a false book and it is not inspired from God, but we claim, which we derive from Quran that Torah along with Injeel has been amended. Quran on other hand is not so since it is unchanged even upto now. This fact of Quran being unchanged has been admitted by Mr.William Meur (An orientalist of 19th century.) who was famous for his anti-Islam activities. He said, I am amazed how a book could remain unchanged for 13 centuries? But this Quran has really no literal change. Quran even speaks about those people who were hidden to the writers of Bible. Naturally, due to their ignorance, the writers of Bible couldnt include such people whom they didnt know (And it is why that many of the writers of Bibles books were not messengers of God who could directly get inspiration from God). Quran says in one of its chapters i. e. Kaf, Our torment destroyed the nations of Noah And the People of Wells. You know sir, who these people were? These people are the forgotten people of a mighty civilization called Indus Valley Civilization (Situated in Pakistan). Our team of archaeologist has proved that in throughout the history, such great number of wells never existed except in Indus Valley. The excavations in this area unveiled that all of the characteristics quite suite them what Quran tells us. You can easily imagine that how superior Quran is in its truth of archaeology in order to be a Literal Word of God. Further argument in this regard can be observed in the historical perspective that Muhammad (PBUH) had never been able to visit India. He even never listened about it since this civilization was discovered in 1826 by British Army personnel Charles Mason. Now, it is my question to you, how was such a hidden event disclosed to Muhammad? Truly, it was Allah who revealed Quran with all facts on Muhammad. Do you know the name of Copper Nachos? I hope you know who charged the Bible to be wrong since Bible says, earth is stationary whereas he claimed earth to be moving. He was imprisoned by the contractors of Christianity in Padua, Italy. About the beginning of this Universe, Bible says that there was a Chaos (Book of Genesis). Just ponder upon the word and ask yourself that what does the word Chaos stand for? It means Disorder, so according to the Bible, there was something already existed, which was in disorder form and then God ordered it in the form of universe. In this way, in fact, Bible falsifies the omnipotence and ability of God being Creator. He is only the manager of this universe in the light of above narrated view. But on the other hand, What does Quran say about all of this. Why cant these deniers see that the Earth and Heavens were merged together in a minute cosmic egg. Thus, we burst them separate to form a new universe. (21:30) Al-Anbiya (The Prophets) Im sure that you very well know about the Big Bang theory of physics. It tells us that in beginning, universe was united in the form of a little egg of energy. Later, the event of big bang (great explosion) occurred. How beautifully Quran has uncovered the truth that science could know after 1300 years. Who told such miraculous scientific facts in 7th century AD to Muhammad (PBUH), Who was an illiterate person? This thing proves Quran to be from God as a Literal Word of God. One thing I must add here, Quran is very strong in its views upon biology and anatomy. No one could challenge them till today except those who misunderstood or mis-interpreted it. A Canadian doctor Mr. Keith L. Moore has admitted the anatomical truths by accepting Quran to be the literal Word of God. He even mentioned the truthful theory of Quran about the development of embryo in the preface of his book. Qurans word ALLAQ (Leech-like embryo) was a cause of special attention for him. He said in 1981, at Dammam Saudi Arabia; It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify the statements in Quran about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad (PBUH) from God, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered util many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad (PBUH) must have been a messenger of God. (Proof of this statement is a video tape namely, It Is the Truth, which can be taken from www.islam-guide.com ) Furthermore, the concept of God in Islam is very strong as well as doubtless as compared to the other divine beliefs. The basis of Islam is accepting God to be one from heart and approving it from tongue. He has no partner, son, and he is completely alone in His all of characteristics. Islamic God is not personified and even not exemplified in a human way. He is beyond our power of thinking and perception. On the other hand, the concepts of Christians and Jews about god are mythical and personified. Their God is more like a man. We Muslim worship the same god what they worship but He unveiled Himself on Muhammad (PBUH) with His very own name ALLAH. He chose ISLAM to be the last prophethood and religion. Most of the people cant understand the wisdom and the light of Quran due to the lack of their own wisdom. Secondly, most of the Western people always wear an optical of prejudice while viewing Islam. It must be taken off for righteous understanding. Quran is Mount Everest and Bible is a thumb. Quran is sun and Bible is moon. Christianity is a lantern and Islam is bright Sun. Thanks my dear for reading it and accepting the truth.
